You will hear about two electricians – Dave and Alan. While both quit a full time job to start their own business, they took two very different paths. Dave choose to work ON his business and now owns a thriving operation where his employees handle all of the day to day operations and Dave can focus on branding, positioning the firm in the market place, and keeping one step ahead of the ever changing business landscape.
Alan has created a job for himself and he works IN his own business. While Alan is earning a decent income and his chosen path serves his near term needs fine, he has not likely built a business that will have value after he leaves the operation day to day. Either path can provide you with great rewards and personal satisfaction. This free two hour seminar looks at the challenges and opportunities for starting and growing your own small business.

ABOUT THE PRESENTER:
David Ehrlich will provide you with strategies that can help you think differently about your small business. Whatever stage of development you may be at – from thinking of an idea to working full time in your small business – tonight’s discussion will get you thinking about new ways to position and grow your business as well as your role in the operation.
David’s last “real job” was as a director at America Online in the late 90’s. David joined his own firm The Track Group in 1998 and serves as President. The Track Group is a federal contractor that specializes in helping the government communicate with the American public.
David is the author of two marketing related books - “The Track Marketing” and “Smokey, Rosie, and You!” David will introduce you to local examples of entrepreneurs and share his personal experiences as he applies insights he’s gained from working at and studying fortune 500 firms over the past two decades.
